Welder
Shift:
- Days: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm • Afternoons: 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday to Thursday

Duties and Responsibilities
- Set and troubleshoot welding machines to ensure quality welds
- MIG welding of steel or aluminum material that is 1/16’ to ⅜’ inches
- Plasma cutting products
- Ability to measure sizes and dimensions
- Responsible for finding the right materials according the design
- Accurate blueprint reading to assemble the products to ensure customer / company standards • Read welding drawings including weld symbols
- Accountable for fitting and welding parts for the trailers
- Operate welding and other related equipment in a safe manner
- Adhere to health and safety policies, advise supervisor of any health and safety improvements /and or recommendations
- Wear required personal protective equipment including heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
- Demonstrates ability to work on job duties with little supervision
- Meet standard trailer build times, as assigned
- Performs quality inspection prior to product leaving the facility
Requirements
- 1 year of MIG welding experience required
- Good to have 6+ years of MIG welding experience
- 1 year of drawing / blueprint reading experience required
- Ability to perform 1/16” to 3/8” welds
- Plasma cutting experience an asset
- Capacity to execute complex custom work, with little supervision
- Background in manufacturing large parts / fabrications
Working Conditions
- Lifting, pushing, bending, and pulling up to 50 lbs
- Frequent exposure to extreme hot / cold weather conditions
- Manufacturing environment that requires personal protective equipment to be work when entering / working in the facility
